A botanical tree of life: deep spreading roots for our maternal ancestors, a braided trunk and branching limbs for the women we are becoming, and blossoms of hibiscus, plumeria and passionflower with a hummingbird and a rising moon for the wisdom we pass forward.

Motherhood is not required to belong here. Wisdom may pass to daughters, nieces, younger women, chosen family and all the generations who follow.
